OUR APPROACH

This is how your examination will be carried out

A transparent process – from the initial enquiry to the handover of the report.

1
Every assignment begins with a precise definition of the questions to be answered and the forensically sound preservation of the available data. Subsequently, all relevant artefacts are systematically analysed, correlated with one another and assessed in terms of their technical significance.
2
LanCologne prepares private expert reports on behalf of private individuals, companies and solicitors, as well as expert reports in the context of court-ordered investigations. Our investigations have already been used in various court proceedings. Furthermore, in certain cases we have been directly commissioned to prepare IT forensic reports. Upon request, anonymised and redacted extracts from reports already prepared can be provided as references, provided there are no legal or contractual reasons preventing this.
