Fees in accordance with the JVEG and individual fee agreements

The fee for an IT forensic investigation is determined by the nature, scope and complexity of the assignment in question. To ensure transparency in its pricing, LanCologne bases its calculations – where appropriate – on the principles of the German Act on Remuneration and Compensation in the Judicial System (JVEG). At the same time, individual pricing agreements or fixed-price quotes may be arranged.

Before accepting any paid commission, we discuss the technical requirements and the anticipated scope of the investigation. On this basis, we will – where possible – provide a bespoke fixed-price quote or a clear cost estimate. If it is not possible to provide an exact calculation in advance, we will explain the reasons transparently and agree any additional costs with you in advance.
