Is it always possible to prove that a chat has been tampered with?
No. The result depends on the available data sources and the technical capabilities in each individual case.
Are screenshots sufficient evidence?
Screenshots can provide some guidance, but they do not usually allow for a full technical assessment without additional data sources.
Are only messaging apps being investigated?
No. To ensure a robust assessment, operating system artefacts and other technical information – where available – are also taken into account.
Is the result admissible in court?
The investigation is documented in a manner that can be verified. The competent court decides on the assessment of the evidence.
